This is a guide when a prospect shows no interest or says that they already have your product/service.
When a prospect says they are not interested or already have the product/service you offer.. there could be many reasons they said that:
- They were busy when they received the message.
- They do not know exactly how you can help them.
- They selected "No Thanks" as a quick prompt message that LinkedIn provided them.
- They did not fully read your message.
Example #1
Prospect message to you: "No thanks."
Here are a couple examples you could say to the prospect to create an opportunity:
- "What {product or service} do you currently use?"
- "Our initial call is mainly to advocate as another set of eyes for you. Not only are we focused on {benefit of your product or service offer}, but we also highlight {benefit of your product or service offer}; Let’s connect for a 5 - 7 min call this week. Which do you prefer, mornings or afternoons?"
Example #2
Prospect message to you: "I already have {product or service}."
Here are a few examples you could say to the prospect to create an opportunity:
- "Thanks for your response! Our most successful clients already have previous relationships. Most people have {product or service}, but do not have {your product or service offer}. Our more holistic approach tends to marry well with what you may or may not have in place already."
- "It's great that you have {product or service}, but have you thought about {what makes your product or service offering different}?"
- "Most of our clients and those we connect with, have already done things on their own. What makes us different, is the holistic approach to {your product or service offer}. Let’s connect for a 5 - 10 min call this Wednesday. Which do you prefer, morning or afternoon?"
